Extended Range RF Detector DD1206

The Protect 1206i is an extended range, digital RF detector that brings expert level counter surveillance to the palm of your hands. Use the protect 1206i prevent illegal electronic spying from of unwanted hidden threats like spy cameras, audio bugs, and more. Nothing detects a wider frequency range (50 MHz - 12 GHz) while offering the pinpoint precision needed to identify devices that transmit GPS, WiFi, wireless protocols, GSM, 3G, 4G/LTE, 2.4, and 5.8Ghz signals.

Protect 1206i Visual Display

The 16 sector bar graph provides the operator with the visual tools to hone in on the transmitting source. For strong radio frequency signals the bar graph with respond quickly. For weak radio frequency signals the bar graph with respond slowly.

Detecting w/ Pinpoint Accuracy

Designed with dual antenna, the Protect 1206i sweeps across the entire 50 MHz - 12 GHz spectrum using the pinpoint microwave antenna. Using the standard antenna, the Protect 1206i will dial-in the precision to focus on threats that transmit between either 2.4-2.48 GHz, and 4.9-5.39 GHz.

Sophisticated RF Detection

Separating the Protect 1206i apart from lesser handheld RF Detection equipment are it’s correlation and demodulation functions. The correlation function allows the operator to study the suspicious signals. When the 'CORR' button is pressed in close proximity to a hidden transmitter the unit produces probing 'beep' signals. The sound is picked up by the transmitting bug and then relayed back to the Protect 1206i. In that moment the Protect 1206i will produce a demodulated noise indicative of the type of transmission. Interpreting the demodulated noise (see manual) provides a broader understanding of the signal and can help distinguish the type of threat you are dealing with.
